Before and After

Why Us?

Aside from receiving second-to-none customer service, you will have peace of mind knowing that your surfaces will be properly cleaned with top-notch equipment and techniques, applied by one of our courteous, trained professionals. In order to help you make an informed decision on whom to use for your power cleaning needs, we must first define several terms used in the pressure cleaning industry and explain how they relate to the cleaning of surfaces.

What Is Pressure Cleaning?

Pressure Cleaning, also known as Pressure Washing, Power Washing or Power Cleaning, is the removal of dirt, mold, mildew and other contaminates from walkways, roofs, driveways and similar hard surfaces by the application of water under high pressure and volume, using specialized equipment which protects the surface being cleaned.

What Do I Need To Know About Pressure Cleaning Equipment?

All pressure cleaning machines have three important numbers to note: Horsepower (HP), Pounds per Square Inch (PSI) and Gallons per Minute (GPM). Horsepower as it relates to pressure cleaning is the engine’s ability to power a water pump. Engines with higher horsepower (HP) are therefore able to run larger water pumps which translate to higher PSI and GPM numbers. PSI is essentially the “scrubbing” power of the machine. As such, higher PSI results in greater agitation of the surface thus more effectively cleaning it by loosening dirt, debris, mold, mildew and other contaminates. Lastly, water volume (or GPM) is what will rinse the grime away once PSI has loosened it from the surface. A machine with high GPM will more effectively rinse the surface clean than a low GPM machine.

Why Is Our Equipment Superior?

While there are some pressure cleaning companies in our market area using professional equipment, most do not. At Aces High Pressure Cleaning we have spared no expense on our equipment so that you can be confident we are providing you with unsurpassed cleaning of your surfaces. We use a large trailer-mounted setup with a 24 HP Honda engine which produces 3,500 PSI and 8 GPM.

It is possible to launch a pressure cleaning business with very little initial capital if the company is willing to invest in much less powerful machines than ours. Therefore, particularly during these tough economic times, we find more people entering the pressure cleaning industry who simply cannot match the quality of cleaning that we provide. They are typically using machines (on a wheeled cart) which are 5-10 HP producing somewhere between 2000 and 3000 PSI at 3-4 GPM.

Although we respect these people as they try to earn money legitimately, we want you, as a consumer, to be informed that while you may spend slightly less for these companies’ services, you will most likely be receiving a much lower quality job for your money.

Why Will We Save You Money?

We are cost-effective because we do a superior and thorough job, so you will need to contract Aces High Pressure Cleaning less often for our services. Also, our cleaning will last longer because, whenever possible, we use a chemical mixture which kills mold, mildew and fungus in addition to preventing organic growth from returning as quickly as it would without this treatment.

What About The Environment?

Pressure cleaning companies take many different stances on the use of chemicals and some go as far as marketing that they do not use them at all. Don’t be fooled; they don’t want to use chemicals for two main reasons:

  1. It costs more money to use chemicals
  2. They know they will make more money when your surfaces require cleaning twice as often

We have experimented with an array of “green” chemicals but simply have not found any of them to be as effective. After all, how can they destroy mold, mildew and fungus if they do not kill plant life? Please be assured that at Aces High Pressure Cleaning we take every precaution to ensure that landscaping is protected while applying a chemical treatment. Only the unwanted growth on the surfaces we are cleaning will be killed. However, if you do not want chemicals used during your cleaning we are more than happy to accommodate your request.
